Once again, looks like the folks at Ariens have been listening. Sounds like a heck of a 2006 line up.

Without actually trying one of these yet, we seem to have feature to compete with offerings from Toro and Simplicity.

And that 28" with 13 HP is a incredible power ratio. Imaging, 13 Hp is enought to run a Good size tractor through tall grass and such.

I hope they stay at a good price point.  Those pistol grip controls sound nice, but I'll have to actually see it.  Anxious to see the new models.  Thanks Snowmann and MountainMan.

Thanks for the good info. MM !

The have incorporated the niche features from Toro (chute control) and Simplicity (trigger steering)...  plus added some...

Interested in seeing / trying the "no-crank" chute control...

Dave...

Whether you think you can or you can't... you're right.

Thanks MM,

It was either yours or Franks post about last years changes that was refered to many times.  It's real nice to have everything in one place.

Yea Frank, I like machine too. And it seems the 12V key start is a dying option. Last year only the biggest models had that option. If i only had 120v starting, id never use it. But the key start makes everybody around me jelouse

Did you pick up your Ariens locally and, if so, do you recommend the dealer?  I am definitely in the market for a snowblower this year.

We both posted at the same time !

In regards to purchasing a machine last year, its just like a computer. Its outdated and lacks features of the newest greatest model within a year or so. A few years ago, models stayed the same for 5-10 years. Now, driven by consumer demand, people want change every year or two., ( Cars especially, electronics etc)

So do you have a High quality, performing machine?/       YES   Dont worry. Be happy.
