Ferrari tractor on Ebay
Original Message   Jul 13, 2005 2:57 pm
I'm not connected to this auction in any way, and have no opinion as to whether this is a good deal or not, but it sure is an unusual tractor. I was not aware that Ferrari sold tractors in North America. I thought they only sold in Europe. Anyhow here is a photo and a link to the auction:

Paula is a woman who takes good advice from a man?  Will miracles never cease. There is some hope for the lady after all.

Now I gotta call Ripley's and report this for their "Believe it or not" series.

Geno,

How about getting a picture if you hear of Paula riding her Ferrari through Madison, harranging the nice folks?

When dealing with a highly volatile species, like a woman, it would be best to use a long telephoto lens. If she hears the camera click, you'd be mincemeat in seconds. And don't post it yourself. Send it to one of the mods: they volunteered for dangerous duties like this and are therefore expendable. (where oh where is Bobby_P when you really need him)

You'll have solved the greatest mystery since the Caramilk bar secret: what does Paula look like? You'll earn more posting points than you'd get for a dozen reviews. How's that as an incentive for a little risky business?

THATS PART OF THE WIVES CREED.

I THINK IT ACTUALLY STARTS OUT WITH "THOUGH I WALK THROUGH THE VALLEY OF THE SHADOW OF DEATH"..........AND ENDS WITH SOMETHING LIKE......... "BECAUSE I SAID SO"

Gino....obviously you are unaware of the OTHER collection I hold near and dear...my collection of orchiectomy scalpels...there are the nice sharp ones for when I am feeling kind...and the dull, "couldn't cut butter" ones....for when people try and take pictures of me while I am trying to enjoy some tractor time....

However, I'm sure after being married 30 years, you know that a woman's bark is MUCH worse than her bite....

Bill_D:

I'm no e-bay bid expert having bought only a dozen or so items, but what works for me is to figure the maximum price I'm wiling to pay (factor in shipping and taxes, etc) and set my max bid price. If I get it then fine; if not I just let it go. There is nothing in life that I feel I absolutely have to possess.  But I'm not buying rare stuff, and if I miss it this time, I'll try again. Eventually I get what I'm looking for.

If you can follow the bid up to the close, and be there for a last minute bid, still decide on the maximum you'd be willing to pay, and then bid lower. If a bidding war starts at the end you can slip your max bid and hope someone hasn't done the same with a higher maximum.

Just my 2 cents worth. It may not be useful for how you bid on stuff, so take it with a large grain of salt.

Good luck.

I can let you guys know why you have never seen pictures of Paula or Marshall. This is from a secret document I accidently saw while visiting my CIA affiliated dentist's office . It seem both Paula and Marshall are such incredibly perfect specimines that even a quick gaze of their image on a photograph is enough to cause hundreds of folks to fall into an incurable depression from knowing that they will never be able to measure up to such beauty and perfection. Apparently it is against national security protocals to photograph either person, because their image is that powerful. Rumor has it that seeing Marshall's image is what drove Sadam Hussein into the spider hole and Paula's image was reportedly used to cause the thousands of Iraqis to surrender in the first Gulf war in hopes that they might see her in person. So now that you guys know, you've got to keep this a secret, ok?
