MTD Yard Machine 4.5 HP push mower with Series 90000 Briggs & Stratton engine. Purchased new several weeks ago and used about an hour, when it worked fine. Now it starts, runs a few seconds and then dies. I can go through the priming/starting procedure half a dozen times and it still doesn't start. Fresh gas added, oil level ok. The carburetor is attached to the top of the gas tank - I took it apart and the screens are clean and there are no visible deposits anywhere. It primes ok. Spark plug looks ok and there are no deposits on tip. Holes in gas cap are not plugged. There is a long tube that runs from the top of the carburetor to the engine, and a pipe cleaner encountered no blockages. What am I missing?
