I just found this forum on the net, looks very cool, but I wonder if woman are welcome here or it's just a boy thing.

Welcome AmberLynn,

You have already met some of the crew that hangs out around here.  The guys are pretty cool.  I work in a small engine shop so I seem to fit in around here pretty good most of the time.  It seems that I may be a little late warning you that topics do get strayed from, but it's all in good fun.

Glad you stumbled across this site and hope you remain an active member.  Again welcome.

That Lawnboy of yours definitely needs new intake & exhaust valves since it burns oil.

Marty,

First, I modified your post because I felt the theme was a little too mature for our new G rating. We will see how it goes.

Second, Thanks.

If someone would like to read Marty's full thread, send me a PM.

Welcome to the forum AmberLynn!  And please forgive my possible stupid question, but aren't Lawnboy mowers all 2 stroke engines and therefore supposed to burn oil? Or did I get this wrong?

Pale orange bugs on Linden tree leavesPosted by STA4 z5 WI (My Page) on Fri, Jun 10, 05 at 15:59

I bought a Linden tree from our club for a great price on Tuesday- But is infected with pale orange bugs on the underside of the leaves. The tree is otherwise very healthy.I sprayed it with dormant oil & a little rubbing alchol that night. The next day it seemed like that did nothing. Yesterday I hosed it off very good. But they don't come off this way. I plan on spraying again tommorow- Looking for any suggestions- Thanks
