BIGGEST walk behind rototiller I ever saw! Original Message May 31, 2005 4:05 pm
Item # 7519549622 on Ebay is certainly the bigest walk behind tiller I have ever seen. This antique is a monsterous 9 feet long, 3 1/2 feet wide and over 700 pounds, according to the seller. It's HUGE !!!! Has anyone ever run something like this? How hard/easy was it to use?

Having operated a Troy Horse enough hours to wear out 5 sets of tines, I'm pretty good at manuvering one around, but that monster must be a beast to turn at the end of a row. But I'd try one in a minute if I could find one locally, just to see how it works. I also wonder what something like that cost "back in the day" compared to a small farm tractor.

So no one here has experience with something like this? I'm really curious to know what it was like to run one, and how it compared price-wise and effort expended when compared to sit down tractors of the day.
