Joe - the seat is not original, it looks as if the previous owner just replaced it. Yeah, this thing sat outdoors for a while...
AJ - All I painted was the deck. I have some of that silver/gray Craftsman paint left, I didn't want to use it up on this project since it cleaned up nicely. 
Marshall - The tractor is either a 1989 or 1990 model year
Rob - The Kubota is going bye bye. I didn't order a high lift blade set for it (DUH!) so it doesn't bag damp grass too well. My JD160 cuts MUCH better, can bag grass after it rains for 3 straight days - it is still my main machine until something significantly better comes across my path (which is going to be tough - the 160 is a GREAT machine). The STX went for $1200 just last Saturday & I will miss it... 
. The Sears YT16 has a 6 speed trans (5 fwd & 1 rev).
'Lint - I'm on the way up with the pickup & 18' trailer to "cash in" on some of that Mother Lode!
