There are two ways you can post a picture: The first: a. subscribe to a photo hosting site like photobuckets or others folks here use;(many are free to use) b. load the picture from your computer to the photo hosting site; c. copy the url for the picture; d. click on the "Insert/Edit Image" icon on the tool bar above when you are posting a message on this forum, and paste the URL in the box; and e. click "OK" and it should appear where you last left your cursor. The second: a. Print out your picture on a good photo quality printer; b. Tear off 4 pieces of clear tape; c. centre the picture on your monitor; d. tape the 4 corners of the picture to your monitor; and e. there you have it. I prefer the first method. With the second, the picture seems to get stuck when I scroll so doesn't scroll out of the way. Did find a reasonable fix by just taping the top two corners and then lifting the photo when I wanted to see what was behind it. A little awkward though.

Considering the number and average size of the pics that get posted here, I'm not sure I understand why it is necessary to involve a third party (the image hosting service) to post a pic? Why can't they be uploaded directly to Abby's? Surely only a couple gigabytes of space on the server could be allocated to this purpose, which would be enough for many hundreds of pics....and if the need ever arose older pics could be deleted to make way for new ones. I understand why image hosting serves the needs of some, but I have not been filled with confidence in my limited experience with them. AZ

I have been extremely pleased with PhotoBucket. They can't make it any easier for you that I can tell. Memory costs money, why pay for something that can be acquired for free? Abby's makes it as easy as could be to link to your web host also. My .2 anyway. C
