I have used a MacKissic in the past and they are a decent chipper/shredder. http://www.mackissic.com/  I personally own a W.W. Grinder from pre-Troy-Bilt days and have had great use from it for over 20 years. If you can find a used one of them even if it is a Troy model, they were a very good design. Looks like metal box about the size of a 3 drawer file cabinet with an open hopper top, totally different from what Troy sells now (if they even sell such a thing anymore).
