In Ottawa, Canada, we have 1 foot of snow sitting on the ground, and looks like more tonight. Maybe 2 inches, with more forecast for Tuesday and Wednesday this week. Its gonna be a white xmas.

NOPE! Fixed it that day. No gear or bearing damage, even though the shear bolt didn't break. It took us about 20 minutes to get the board out. We bent the auger back some with a pry bar, and went back to work. Fixed the rest later that day. The belt took quite a hit though. It held for the rest of the day, but, it had quite a thin spot. Even though I did the repairs myself ( usually) I am going to send a bill for my time and aggravation. I'm not allowed to be disabled. With 41 driveways on the list this year, I always have 2 on the truck and 3-4 backups in the shop ready to go! Ken
