Dump your old blinds

Who would have thought that vinyl blinds could contain lead?  Not me. Turns out however that in 1996 the feds issued a warning about vinyl blinds.  Apparently, some manufacturers had been using lead because it helps the blinds keep their color and remain flexible.  Well.... we know lead is bad news - especially for kids.  In fact, there was a recall in 2000 because there was one last manufacturer that had not stopped using lead.
