Eddie, I recently had a 18 horse Craftsman hydrostatic drive given to me . I would not doubt that alot of these hydro trannys are made by the same company. I tried what Mrfixall said and it did not work for me as of yet but I am pretty sure we do not have the same model. I actually have a old murray with a manual trans that looks like it may bolt in. I might tear apart the hydro unit to see what is up with it . If I find a solution I will let you know if you are still interested. Jerad
