Re: In the market for a COMMERCIAL DUTY carpet cleaning machine

Go to www.crusadermfg.com

Look at the 5 gallon version, dual two stage motors, and add heat.  That's the one I have had for nearly seven years.  Take a look at edic as you have mentioned, they've got some good units to.  but from the list you've given, the crusader or the edic will eat the others for breakfast
Re: Hepa bags for Electrolux

I don't know who would say it makes "the Electrolux motor run hot and burn out.".  I've used the perfect hepa bags in my Luxes without any problem.  In fact, I find them to have better airflow than paper.  (as measured per the Baird airflow meter)   So, better airflow should dissipate heat better.  In fact, I would venture to say that it would benefit the motor in that no, or little dust will pass through the motor.  The only caveat that I can see as to using the perfect bags, the cardboard strip that crosses the inlet opening, can be difficult to puncture through.  What I'm starting to do is tear that strip off, so the door closes more easily.  Only caveat to this is that when you do change the bag, the little hole in the rubber is open and has the potential to leak dirt/debris.

I wonder if these machines come with the same motors and attachments that the dealers have.  Also, how are these units priced as compared to what the dealers are trying to weasel out of the public.  I'd laugh if they are being sold at discounted prices.

Procare,

Thanks!!  That's what I kinda thought.  I'm more knowledgeable on the older Canadian Lux motors than the US ones.
