Re: Miele S4 or S5-Air or Power?

Hi there Maddy, et al -
Great wealth of information has been provided to you ... Can I ask why your dealer hasn't shown you the Miele S2 line? Electrobrush models for both $500 and $600 range... Just thought I would let you know that they are available as well - more or less as an "intro" to the Miele Brand (same motors as the S4 and S5  to boot!!)

Greetings Travstyles - congrats on your selection of the S2 Delphi. To answer your question, on the S2 Series 217 - YES they glow orange when powered on. They used to be green - not sure why the change though.
Hope it lasts you a long long time!

Hi All,
The Genuine Miele bags are now called "Air Clean" and I don't believe they have the straps anymore...

Also, you can get a Miele S2 Delphi model for $499 - comes with a power nozzle (no floor brush or HEPA as standard)... Still a great price point. OR,  you can now even get the basic S2 model with standard floor tool for $299.
Smart move by Miele to release these...
Re: Help with Canister Vacuum buying choice.

"Floors - House is mostly lamanate flooring with a few large will area rugs and runners.  Carpeting in a couple bedrooms but I'm planning on pulling that and putting in lamanate with rugs."

Dear Jeff - If you plan on pulling up the carpeting and have only laminate flooring, I believe a Turbobrush on the Neptune will be more that sufficient, unless your carpeting is very thick and dense or your house is over 3000 SqFt.
I sell Neptunes all the time with home environments like these, and my customers are extremely pleased.

Hope this helps and let me know if you need some help.
Thanks!
