Summer Storage

So I had a fun season with this JD 1028 I picked up last October. I have a busy few months ahead so I have to put this thing away while I have the chance. I ran the machine until it ran out of gas and changed the oil. Since this was only it's first season is there anything else I should do before I put the cover on it? It probably had about 20 hours of use.

I have it back together, but from what I seen yesterday there are at least 4 mounts, the engine is supported by the plates and rubber mounts, I can not say 100% that it does not touch the tractor base, but I think it does not. I will look closer next time! Under the trator base is the pump and drive system for the Hydro Drive, did not take that area apart, will inpect during storage shutdown! My question is..... where can I buy a Yamaha snowblower and have it shipped to the US???

I bought the 1028 in September and since using it twice, I was very impressed. Lets see how this machine holds up. So far seems very solidly built.

I got about 2.5" yesterday and decided to fire up my Stihl BR550 Backpack Blower. It worked great! Some of it was on the wetter side but it still blew it off the pavement and onto the snowcovered grass. It sure beat using a shovel on my 135' driveway for just 2.5" of snow. Barely broke a sweat and no back pain after the job was done! Good idea!!! Thanks.
