I own a Bernina vacuum cleaner, model 6700.  I broke one of the cord storage hooks (the bottom hook) and need to replace it a.s.a.p.  I've done a Google search for the part, but without any luck.  Do any of you know who or what business may stock a cord storage hook for my Bernina?

You should have no problem finding a cord hook for your Bernina.  There are many listings for Bernina parts on Google.  You are not going to find every part for your machine listed on a website, because it does cost money and use space.  There are Bernina dealers on the internet.  All you would have to do is call or email the website and order the part, because they can get it.  
 
The same can be true of many vac shops if they do business w/ the distributor of this brand or the new.
 
For future reference, just because your Bernina looks similar to other vacuum cleaner brands, it does not mean that all parts are going to be able to fit from Riccar, Simplicity, Panasonic, etc.

I am glad that you were able to find a the part that you needed.  The cord hook is a common part and is easy to find.
