Hello Ponder195:

Are the paper bags in properly? Try turning around and see what happens with the suction.

One of the things that I am hearing about the cleaning is a possible need of a new brushroll. If one has not been put in since the cleaner came to the store that is one good bet. The Extreme had been out for some time. CVS has been a customer for quite a few years. With all the carpet brushrolls need to be replaced. You find a big change in cleaning.
I have had to replace several. The store managers don't know when and what to check for and that is why I made a point to check local CVSs vacuums for them.
I think the big problem is brushroll.
