Title: Bought my grandma a used Electrolux Guardian
Post by vaclov on 05/07/07 at 5:33pm

I just got this vacuum in mail about a week ago and I sent it to a vacuum repair shop to have them clean and deordorize it, and to check the vacuum over to make sure everything is running properly.  Well come to find out the vacuum needed a new circuit board and I was wondering how much is that going go cost me.  The vacuum tech told me they would just charge me for how much they paid for it, but I wonder if he said that because the part was really expensive.  My grandma is excited because she loves the Electrolux brand but I wonder if I bit off more than I could chew with my ebay Electrolux deal.

Hi would you give me the serial number of the machine,it may well be under warranty.

What board are you talking about, the one in the machine or the one in the hose?.

here to help.

Its The one in the machine, and I don't have the serial # because its in the shop, but I can tell you that its the 75th Anniversary Guardian. I didn't know I could still get the warranty, I thought if an Eletrolux vacuum was sold outside of the Aerus Company the warranty would be null and void.
