Greetings! I have an Oreck 3500 "Super Celoc" canister vac w/ Bigfoot PN & having hard time finding the swivel for the PN & bags. I've checked out the vac shops & they dont have bags or parts for that vac, & Oreck isn't very helpful when I ordered the parts, but they say its obsolete. The PN swivel broke, & this vac's a rare mdl & I haven't even seen it on E-bay; but it's a powerful vac that I might sell or trade for a vintage vac.

What is PN ? There is such a thing as designing and building an item "too good". Why not just buy a new Oreck vacuum, but, IMO, they are overpriced...as are the SAS shoes...

This Oreck canister vac was made from 1989-1996 (approx. timeline) but most parts are now hard to find & surpisingly Oreck.com doesn't have the bags on their website. That's why I use the Tri-Star for heavy-duty cleanups but I collect other vacs too.

My old Super Celoc is BARELY used b/c I prefered the Tri-star or the Lux since their bags are MUCH EASIER to find than the Oreck's. People can find Lux bags just about anywhere; Tri-Star's bags can be found in almost ANY vac shop or hardware store.

Well then, I am glad I did not buy an Oreck.
There are several dealers around here; but if they are the only ones with the bags, or, if there are no bags for a 10 to 15 year old Oreck...
And there are still some parts available for that 50 year old Frazier at the good auto parts places..
Seems as if Electrolux wishes to remain as the best in vacuums; service is very important...

The reason the bags areant available is that this model was discontinued. Bags are available for other models, and all XL uprights. The Big Foot p/n is still beeing made and the neck is still available in black, but not the red. I am not sure what to tell you on bags, but I will look a few different places and see of i can find a pack or two.

After that "bojack" (replacement) parts and a network of after market parts' suppliers may/may not kick in. It depends on the popularity and sales of the makes and models (read profit). Carmine D.

1st I googled your vacuum an the from the 48 search results narrow it down these four sites that have the bags you need. I.hope this helps you out i have always liked the Oreck "Super Celoc" 3500 canister better than the uprights.

You can still find parts for this ORECK canister, but you must look hard. Businesses will only have remaining inventory. My suggestion to you is stock up on bags and parts, even if you do not need it at the moment. Once it is gone, it's gone.

In most situations, parts are available for quite some time, but it is different w/this canister. It was not a popular machine. They were also expensive and not as popular as ORECK'S "8lb. upright". The canister had similar complaints to the HOOVER Dimenion1000-it was heavy. They sold for approx. $400-$450.

Get the parts while you can.
