Awsome

I am not a vac guy. I have owned about three and I have been fustrated with most of them. I have a goal only met by a 3 horse power shop vac.
Well I met my goal with the Dyson.
I have a bad allergy to dust and cat hair. Of course there are two cats in the house and cleaning happens in spurts. SO during the winter and the summer when all the windows are shut I tend to silently suffer with itchy eyes and occasional hives.
I managed to read all the reviews of the Dyson I could find and spoke with a few owners. So I went for it...after taxes the unit was $420.00.
I vac'ed the house that day with my older vac and then went to it with the Dyson. Not only did I pick up a load of more stuff but I actually felt better when I was done. I have since vac'ed with the Dyson about every three days and have yet to have an itchy eye or one hive.
The other reviewer had a problem with the hose. Well the trouble with the hose is the that the suction is so strong that the hose is being sucked back to the vac. I solve the problem by pinning the vac down behind a chair and using the hose that way so the vac won't follow you around.
Anyway for the price I think this is the best vac out there and I look forward to many years of clear eyes and no hives....lol
Pros
Cons
Suction....as good as a shop vac. Quite..easy to manuver..light..Positive locking attachments... easy to empty...makes a room not just clean but smell clean.
.hmmmm....it's yellow ?
