I've got a Hoover Air Lite which has roller brush failure. I removed the belt, lowered the handle, and laid the vacuum on its back. Looking on the underside, I saw that the geared motor that drives the belt in not function, I removed the motor and tested it...working properly. I was wondering if it could be a failed circuit board that could be causing this issue. The roller brush power switch also checks out to be functioning properly....any ideas?
