I don't think anyone should go for a cleaning service unless the house is so damn dirty lol. A vacuum cleaner is way better if you are regular in cleaning your home.

We'll see how you feel about that when you are elderly and still want to live independently in your own home. At that point a cleaning service and Meals on Wheels can become very attractive to you, along with regular visits by a home health care provider. Not every elderly person wants to move in with one of their kids. One of my own personal requirements is that a cleaning service bring their own commercial vacuums because if they use yours it will be abused. Let them tear up their own equipment, unless you like buying new vacuums all the time.
