It appears that someone has been having fun at the drawing board. A week or two back, I saw a designer's plan for a vacuum shaped like a dog -- meant to appear more friendly to Fido -- and decided to not bother about posting the "news" here. I'm more a function over form person most of the time.
BUT an inventor in Holland has come up with an idea for a ball-shaped robotic vacuum. The following link leads to an article about it plus a video. There is no info as to how the device is guided.
