Frankly I like the noise of my vacuum. Perhaps this model has a loud motor?! Also: http://www.appliancist.com/vacuum_cleaners/ This model and quite a few "new" European models due to be launched in various parts of Europe soon such as the new "Ease" uprights from Electrolux, only betitled because they are bagless cyclonic uprights fitted with an auto rewinding cable. What will Electrolux think up next? We had auto cord rewinding uprights in the UK back in the 1970s!

I knew TTi would eventually produce the same excellent Vax Mach Air series. Just found it on Wal Mart. This is the exactly the same model we have in the UK. You guys know it as the Hoover Windtunnel Air Multi Cyclonic UH70400. The difference is the rear hose fits to the left hand side on this Hoover compared to the central rear release on the Vax.

Hi Carmine,

If I'm correct, this is merely a re-brandingof the Royal MRY001.  Royal, a holding of "Big Daddy" TTI I believe, has had this machine out for a long while but I suspect that someone feels it will move better on the market under the Hoober name.

Interestingly the standard dirt containment on these back packs is a cloth bag.  Paper inserts are available as an option.
