Question for you experts. Rainbow E2 powerhead vs Wessel Werk powerhead
Original Message   Dec 8, 2009 4:26 pm
I have no problems with my E 2 speed Rainbow; I hate the power head. I can buy a new Wessel Werk  power head that I can use on my Rainbow, but I'm wondering is it really that much better? I hate spending 160 dollars on a new power head unless I"m going to notice much difference.  My Rainbow power head is VERY CLEAN and I'm thinking about selling it on Ebay or something.

HI mark40511,

In one form or another Wessel Werk PNs are showing up on just about every vacuum out there. (Flip my Miele can's power nozzle over and what have you design-wise -- all things Wessel Werks.

The WW nozzle has also been picked up by water-type vacs like Hyla http://www.hyla-us.com/html/product_ebr.html and Roboclean http://www.roboclean.dk/english/side.asp?menu=23&afsnit=77

If you really want to change also consider the possibly less expensive Kenmore PNs as well as Eureka cloned PNs. Both are great on rugs. Many brands of PNs can be found for sale singly on central vac sites. Venson

Hi Mark.

I recommend the Eureka Express power nozzle. Here is the link:

I hope this helps.
