They look okay and are keenly priced, only... pleated filters? MEH! :-)

One thing it mentions is lightweight!  They already have the Vax Mach machines (same as Hoover US) which came out last year!  Not sure these machines have sold so well, probably the clue is on the home page regarding the new range 'lightweight'.  The Vax Mach machines are very heavy!

Hello M00seUK et al:

Consider the prices.  If your perspective [as vacuum consumer/vacuum maker] is that bagless vacuums offer a cheaper less expensive alternative to the bagged vacuums, then pleated filters are amenable.  Does anyone know if these filters are teflon coated [surface treated to resist dirt clogging] and washable?
