Pete   Can you tell where the dealer is that has the  Simplicity pro still ?

I guess that I'm # 4 for the Simplicity , I had 2 choices the Ariens DLE  or the Simplicity Pro series when I was searching for a blower based on some reading on this site.
Both are real good machines but the Simplicity won it for me,  I have the 10560E 2006 10.5 hp 24" and  Its very well made ... check out them out close and look at the small details done on the Simplicity !
 

How many people are putting synthetic oil in there snowblowers ? I have been thinking about putting Mobile 1 in mine its a Simplicity Pro series 1056E a 2006 model.
Is there any benefits to it or just change it with regular oil frequently during the winter

My Simplicity blower 10560E  has a oil drain hose on it  called " Drainzit oil changing aid" model #STAN1025  , not sure if this a factory install or the dealer put it on but its real handy for a quick none messy oil change.
You can get them from the Northerntool web site... just search for drainzit. They have them for Hondas and Tecumseh also.

The turning has been no problem with just the one trigger lock for the one wheel for me on the Simplicity. It seems to me that there was a discussion on the engines last year before I purchased mine and the 10.5 briggs is the same as the 13hp.This could be why it will go through the snow as well as it does no effort at all . The briggs so far has started with 2 pumps on the prime and just a lite pull on the handle . I had a Simplicity garden tractor that was from the early 60's till just a few years ago and could still buy parts for it and hope to have the same for the snowblower a machine that will last for years to come and not just a throw away.
