Hi!

This is my first post as I had no idea what had happened to the other forum.  It has been some time since I was looking at Vac forums.

The 560 is still made but it is the 560-QS. This stands for Quiet Series.  They  have added more sound insulation to make it more quiet.  It is still the same motor.  I have a 960 for the last 12 years and it is the best of the 3 CVS I have had installed in the last 25 years.  The other 2 were MD and Electrolux when they were still Electrolux.

There is more to it than the screen if yours it put together the same way.  I have a metal shroud around the screen and then there is the black plasitc or fiber cone around that metal shroud.  I still don't know what the thing is made of.  Mine is 3 times the diameter of yours and  mine is hung 6 inches from the ceiling.  This is how I clean it.  I can stand under my unit.  I just dump the dirt container and then take a nylon hair brush and throw it into a 55 gallon bag.  The brush is in the bag.  Using my hand on the ouside of the bag with brush in hand I just brush the hell out of the screen.  The metal shroud holds a lot of fuzz and dirt above the screen.  Clean that off the top of the metal shroud.  Be carefull as you can cut your hand on the metal as it is sharp.  I also use my Ranibow SE PE with a 2 inch ID hose without the metal end to catch the dust so when I remove the bag that the dust is not flying all over the place.  My unit vents to the outside on my right side as you are standing inf front of tthe tank.  Then I first start to clean the exhaust I use a brush which you would use to clean baby bottles.  Then DW goes outside and attaches  a Shop Vac to each exhaust line as I have dual exhausts lines.  I  purchased a dryer cleaning brush at B,B,&B and when the shop Vac is turned on I brush the hell out of it and you would not believe the stuff in the exhaust lines.

I hope  U understand what I am saying as I  always don't do this that well.
