If you're in the market for a premium quality, well built, roomy snow thrower cab, this is the one for you. I shopped around and looked at other snow cabs and, frankly, they were cheap looking at best and prices were much too high for what was being offered. The size of the cheaper cabs was quite a bit smaller, fabric looked flimsy, tubing thinner and unpainted.
Assembly of the Classic does take some time. I would consider myself very much mechanically inclined and had downloaded the the assembly instructions several days before arrival of the cab kit. I studied it fairly well and it still took me an hour and a half to put it together. Once you have it together, you then have to assess if the the fit is right for you and the machine. The adjustability is impressive but adjustments do take time. Once you have it dialed in, you will be impressed.

Pros:
Well built, very good price, roomy and the cab has quick release capability. Pull two pins and off it comes.
Cons:
Had to relocate the light and had to cut a slit in the bottom middle to fit cab cover over the chute control rod on a new Simplicity 28" snow thrower. |
