I bought this washer with the full knowledge that it was, by comparison, lower pressure and lower capacity. I wanted it to wash my car, truck and RV and maybe exterior house walls. I also wanted it to easily carried and stored. It has proven to be just what I wanted. The pressure is high enough to remove the dirt (assuming you're using the pressure washer detergent) but not so high as to do damage. It doesn't have the "recoil" one feels in a drive-through, do-it-yourself carwash, but I think the carwash recoil is because it's pushing a great water volume so you do get done faster I suppose. This washer will not strip paint, clean bricks or concrete very well, but it won't blast the skin off your leg either.

Pros:
An easy-to-store, capable power washer for small jobs around the house
Cons:
My only complaint is that the hose hookup is plastic. It works just fine but I'm suspicious that if you were to move the unit dragging the hose behind held only by the connector, some day it'll break. Of course, maybe it won't ever -- that's just my fear. Otherwise, so long as you don't think it's a cheaper replacement for a 3800 psi, gas driven washer, you'll be well served and satisfied. |
