Great rear engine rider. I would buy one again today. The total maintenance cost over 5 years, other than gas, oil, spark plugs and blade, has been $7.00 for a replacement friction disc.
I paid around $1,900.00 for it.
Features:
15HP Kohler OHV engine with full pressure lube and spin on oil filter.
Electric start with recoil backup.
Extra duty disc drive transmission.
Shift on the fly.
Steel articulating frame.
33" deep circular cutting deck.
High-Vac deck.
2 deck gauge wheels (anti-scalp)
1 deck nose roller
3 different styles of baggers.
Ninja Mulching kit.
Large gas tank with fuel level indicator and vent valve.
385 pounds
Date Purchased: 04-99
Price Paid: $0
Recommend: Yes |
Pros:
High Vacuum for great baggging and superior mulching. Easy to work on. Stand on end capability for storage and blade changing, etc. The deck is deep, round and smooth on the underside, does not gather build-up. It has anti-scalp wheels and a nose roller.
Reliable, simple, will cut all day long and look forward to more.
The ninga mulching blade is the best mulching blade design I have seen and used.
Cons:
Turning radius. But, the steering is so quick it helps offset it some. |
