Have only used it twice, but I am very impressed so far. Even without the differential or traction control that the Broadmore/Conquest offer, it pulls my 250 lbs up my 25 %+ grade with ease. The turning radius continues to impress me, and the build quality is excellent - no comparison in my opinion to the competition at HD/Lowes, but of course its signifciantly pricier. The Honda is smooth as silk and much quieter than the Kohler single I also looked at. Thanks to Marshall for all of his offline help with the purchase.

Pros:
Turning radius, smooth engine, solid build quality and oh yeah - great cut! Plenty of leg room, deck comes off in less than 2 minutes once you know how to do it with NO TOOLS! Paint is automotive quality. The Simplicity techs will talk to you for hours if you want to, they clearly take a lot of pride in their products.
Cons:
Pricey - larger, more powerful machines are available for significantly less $$$. Alot of the dealers think they are selling Ferraris with a 2 year waiting list, tough to get a discount without the promotions here in the northeast. I only have a half acre to mow... |
