Check the vacuum ports that feed the carb that are about 1/8" hole .the gasket normally has two holes with one being active. It could be blocked.also once you have it running and warmed up spray some Deep Creep into carb I've had good luck using this Sea Foam in spray can. I do have a Stihl cut off parts saw not sure of model no, can check if you want.

Does the Ariens kit 72600700 contain both belts ? I have found it for a lesser price but no pic or details of of what you get . My 11528 also likes belts I have noted even with a new Ariens belt all of my adjustment is taken up and one belt is used for a while its too long giving the options of raising motor or purchasing a new $20.00 belt. Any info would be great. Thanks

Ariens 11528 auger belt

The auger belt on my snow blower seems too long and will slip. factory belt is p/n 07200004 which is 35.39". They belt was new when season started and belt adjustment was made to book .....no more adjustment left in fact their was very little adjustment to begin with, This leads me to think a shorter belt like Ariens p/n 07215600 which is 35" will work better and leave more room for adjustment. Has anyone encounter this problem on Ariens model 11528 ? Thanks.
