Ariens 1027LE Snowblower Auger Gearcase Leak/ model #921002

i went out to my shed to get something and noticed some fluid under my snowblower. i pulled it out and checked the engine oil and it's fine. i tipped it back and ran my hand under the gearcase and that is where the leak appears to be coming from. it was an orangeish color. i checked all the bolts that hold the gearcase together and was surprised to get a pretty easy 1/4 turn on all of them. is it normal for vibration to loosen all the bolts that much? it wasn't just one bolt that i tightened it was all and they were all equally loose. anyway i started googling and found some of the posts here where Snowmann talks about tipping the machine forward up on 4-5inch blocks under the tires so i did that and when i removed the filler plug the gear oil started coming out(slowly oozing out, so slow that not even a drop hit the ground before i recapped it) so i'm assuming everything is ok and it was just overfilled with gear oil from the factory? we've had a warmer than usual summer here in alaska and from what i've read this can cause minor drips from the gearcase? appreciate your time
