I would check with a local dealer. I have had this problem with tracked models, but those have a sort of pedal/lever on the back side of them that you step on and it locks the unit down, causing the front drag edge to bite down hard to the surface. You could also check the drag edge, maybe it needs to be adjusted or replaced.

Cub Cadet 3225; looking for input

I recently bought my first home and it has a rather large yard. I wanted a rider or a zero turn. I came across what I thought was a good deal on a mower so I bought it. It's a 1998 or 99 3225 Cub Cadet with a 60" deck. It's a bit dirty, needs a wash for sure, missing a tailight and the rear rollers behind the deck are messed up and the shaft they mount on needs to be replaced. Aside from that, the Kohler power house it has fires up and runs really nicely. The hydraulics seam to function smoothly and the way they should. The front end feels a bit loose, but drives alright, but a bit of wondering on bumpy ground. Does anyone else know much about these this model? Thanks!
