Re: Yard King snow blower engine stalls after short use

Thanks for the tip, but I tried it with the fuel cap off and had the same result.
Runs for a short while and then surges and stalls .
Ideas would be appreciated--seems to be fuel starvation but will restart

Yard King snow blower engine stalls after short use - still need help

I tried it with the fuel cap loosened and it still had the same result.
It runs for a while and then begins to surge and then stalls. It will restart and then run for a while and then same thing. It appears to be fuel starvation , but I can not figure out why
I have a yard king 8 hp snowblower that is 1 yr old. It runs for about 2 min and then stalls is if from fuel exhaustion. Sometimes as it is quiting I can choke it and it will come back to life briefly, but not for long. After it quits and sits a min or 2 it will start and run fine and then quit again.
Also, the primer button does not seem to ever get hard.
Any ideas???
