Has the situation with your snowblower been rectified? I've been interested to hear how your story with the dealer and Ariens ended.

Solara - The float had a hairline crack in it so it was replaced.

70 Cheverolet - I remember and prefered the metal ones so you're dating both of us =^)

I thought I might have had it bad, but unfortunately you get the gold star. I think what is worse is that your dealer hasn't admited to making a mistake and taken action to retain you as a customer. I hope you have good luck with Ariens.

I'll find out when they bring it back tomorrow. I just talked to the dealer on the phone.

Ok, now the follow up. The carb was leaking because the float was becomming saturated with gas and sinking. I hope this may help someone else in the future.
