Sears Snowblower wont stay running- Need Help
#1   Feb 14, 2007 11:19 pm
I have a Sears 9 HP dual stage snowblower that wont stay running.   Two days ago it would start and runfine for about 5 minutes then stop and not restart.  After I wainted for a while it would restart and run again for 5 mintues and then stop.  Today it will only start and run for about 20 seconds with the choke on but wont stay running with either the choke on or after I turn the choke off.  I have replaced the fuel twice.  I have replaced the spark plug.  I have cleaned the float bowl and cleaned the bolt in the bottom of the float out as well.  Is the fuel line frozen?  Is the float sticking?  I found a rubber diapham like part with a hole in it and a small square foam piece and a plastic push button that goes into the foam piece and then into the bottom of the rubber diaphram piece.  Any chance this goes on the bolt on the bottom of the float bowl to keep the fuel from freezing?   These parts feel off of somewhere?  Any help would be appreciated.
