Hi,

I have a snapper rear engine ride on mower with a mowing deck and would like to get a little more out of it than just using it for mowing. It has an 8hp briggs on it and pulls strong. I recently made a garden cart for it, and am planning on buying a used 36-42" garden plow blade to adapt to it. Has anyone here used the little tractor for plowing ? If so have you added anything besides the plow, tire chains, and some weight to the back to balance it out ? My concern also lies with steering. I moved it in a couple of inches of snow and the front slid a bit when trying to turn, but I am guessing that weight of the plow on the front will help control that.

Does anyone have any experience with the snappers and using it for other things ?
