Have you tried to take the old spring into a hardware store to see if you can find something similar that will work? It doesn't have to be an Ariens spring if you can get one off the shelf that will do the same job. Why pay $10.00 to $20.00 for a part when a reasonable substitute can be had for $2.00? Is this what you're looking for? Yes borat that is what I'm looking for but they don't have them stock. I'll check a different hardware store then i check yesterday.

I have a 2005? (926004 003330) Dealer machine that broke a tension spring Part#(08300022) They told me 2 or 3 days. After waiting 1&1/2 weeks it was the wrong spring? I gave them the right part number!! I have called over 30 dealership in my area no one has this spring. I have called Ariens they say the parts or on a truck leaving WI to a new warehouse down south. It maybe 2 more weeks (Best Guest) Any suggestion?
