Hello, I finally got myself a can of Sea Foam. This stuff is hard to get in Canada. I got it at Nappa Auto Parts........$13.00 a can. Okay I have a few questions. How much do you add to the gas can? Is this a good replacement for gas stabilizer or can you use booth at the same time? And what about the gas in the snowblower? Should I add some in the tank if so how much? or just wait till I top it off with mix in the gas can? Edward

Re: V-belts

It was my understanding that regular v-belt don't work to well on a snow blower since the loads are pretty high and the "working conditions" somewhat cold and wet.
I remember the parts guy at the local L&G saying that snowblower belt have a layer of Kevlar and that they don't stretch the just get worn out from the inside and it looks like stretching.
Has anyone used regular belts or is it a matter of getting a belt designed for snow blowing from a third party source? I tried a automotive v-belt lasted 45 minutes before it smoked and died

Hello all, I just join this discussion. I hope you guys can help. I bought a used snowblower a mastercraft 3hp 2 cycle blower. It is good for what I use it for. My problem is after two uses. The belt that drives the augar snapped. Since I have no parts list. I took the broken belt to Canadain tire. They matched it the best they could. I put it in ran it for 45 minute and the belt smoked and snapped. My question is. Does anyone have a parts list for this blower. So I can order a proper belt for this machine. Any help would be good. Thank you Edward
