Snapper LT 16
#1   Aug 28, 2005 11:17 am
My 40 year old rear engine Snapper got to the point where I was spending more time repairing than I was mowing.  I just purchased a Snapper LT-16.  The monster has a 16hp Briggs and 48 inch deck.

I tried invain to get info on the model but found nothing, however Snapper still offers the user and parts manual on line. My decision to buy this particular machine was based on the over-all appearance (excellant), the heavy gauge of steel used on the frame and mower.   And the sweet sound of the  engine.  Sound like a harley!  :-)

As I expected, it does not make the perfect cut as the single blade Snapper did but, still a very nice cutting job.  What thrilled me is, what used to take 5 hours now take less than thre!!

I would be very much interested in any ones opinion of this machine.  I paid $800 for it and would like to know how long I could expect it to run and what kind of problems I can expect with it.

Thanks in advance,
David
