Tank has fresh gas, engine does not have a primer. set choke half way after starting couple seconds then open all the way. I bought this engine at Northern tool a couple of years ago and took it back and they said the problem was carb jets because of pollution control so they supposedly changed them, but i never saw any difference

Toro 522xi garden tractor

I have a 2002 toro 522xi garden tractor with about 350 hours on it.
I have a 2002 toro 522xi garden tractor with about 375 hours on it. it has a 52 inch deck on it. When i cut grass i pull a grass catcher behind it. This machine has a speed control on it that is ruining the tranny. When this machine warms up you cannot pull a slight grade up hill. The fluid is full and i have changed the filter twice to no avail.Does anyone have any ideas?
