Where have you looked for Snowblowers? Have you tried Veseys in York? They carry Toro, Ariens. Daniel Christopher sales in Tignish also carries Ariens.

I have since heard from 3 other dealers via email. All 3 have quoted me $1036, so the dealer selling for $1249 is truly trying to rip me off.

Canadian pricing on Ariens 7524E ?

I've been to my dealer and they are offering the Ariens 7524E for $1249 Can. Does anyone know if this is a fair price for this model? I've seen this model selling for $759 and $799 in the US, however I cannot find any Canadian dealer pricing on the web.

I see pictures of the 7524E on the internet and some show different handlebars. The Ariens site shows regular bars while this site http://www.allseasonspe.com/78900934/ariens+sno-thros/ariens+compact+sno-thros.asp shows "Ergonomically Designed Handlebars".

Which is the newer model? My dealer has one with the "Ergonomically Designed Handlebars" but I'm wondering if this may be last years model he is trying to sell.
