Auger Not moving
#1   Feb 14, 2007 10:11 pm
Appreciate any feed back. When I last used my snowblower a month ago, it worked fine and shut off well. When I started it today, the auger would not turn. In fact (with spark plug removed,) I cannot turn it by hand. I had tightened the belt but I think that the auger is frozen. I have an unheated garage and live in an area where the temp has not gone above 10 very often. Last night it was thirteen below. Is it possible that the auger can freeze ? I do not visibly see any ice etc. on it. Or do I have a serious auger gear issue. Should i attempt to warm it up somehow ?

Thanks for any help.
