Change the oil and check the belt tension for starters. The shear pins should be removed and you should grease the machine per the manual. You can get manuals directly from Ariens. Your model may be available in a download. http://www.ariens.com/customer_service/order_owners_manuals/

Getting ready for the change over...

Hi all...Long time no see. It's been a very busy summer with the two boys. Anywho...I just stopped by to say hello. I was hoping to see more activity on the site, but then again....Im sure it was and still is a great summer for others too. With three years of solid use, I thinking of changing the belts on my 824 Deluxe. Has anyone else changed their blower belts this early? The thought of losing a belt during the harsh weather doesn't sit well. Looking forward to hanging with the crew....Rob

Chris- Many times, Lint would round up the troops and take the bus out for a spin. Unfortunately, it was never the same without you! Glad to see you home again. Boston_Rob
