Re: Is there any brilliant minds that can make a metal craftsman snowblower chute

Hey John Thanks for the suggestion! I tried using some band iron where the bolts would screw in, but that did not help. I will try your advice, I will look for a older snowblower with a metal chute. You would think Sears would fix this problem, but by not fixing it they are sure of people buying new chutes every couple of years. John, thanks for the help Bill

This is my 4th plastic chute for my craftsman snowblower. It is about 6 years old. If a person out there can make a metal chute for this snowblower, he could become rich. If anyone has any ideas let me know I have a 9 HP Craftsman snowblower. Model # 536.887992 Thank You

Marty, I went to Lowes and purchased everything that you said to get and it works GREAT. You just saved me about 40.00 dollars. One question did you put in a switch to shut it off or ran it direct. I have mine direct. Thank You Thanks to everyone who replied to my question.

My question is I have a Sears snowblower without a headlight. I want to install one if I can, will someone be able to tell me if I can and what type headlight I need. I tried a standard 12 volt headlight but it just is to dim. Is there a bright light or do I need a special light for this? How do these lights work, I don't think I have an alternator. Thank You for the help, Bill
