It just started in Nassau County about 9:15. Within 20 minutes the ground was fully coated. I'm sure it'll keep up requiring the snowblower in the morning

Yes, silly me Thank you Sherri for giving us Long Islander's some of the white stuff. Keep up the good work BTW...I did pay a few of the old Manhasset Indians a few dollars on the side to give you a helping hand. I think they may have mixed in a bit of a rain dance, because it's supposed to drizzle by mid-morning

We are not getting 6" as expected. It will be more a mixture than anything. I don't like it. We usually have a good 1 by now, with this time of year being the time we get the most snow. I'll still keep waiting.

Well it did snow here. Some nice powdery stuff it was until the sun come out. Not much though. Got the leaf blower out and cleaned up a little around the yard.
