I have read numerous reports about problems with the aluminum gearcase for this model - was there any serial number range in the 924121 where it was sent from the factory with the cast iron gearbox or are all 924121 units affected? I am thinking of buying a used one in great shape looks barely used, but I don't want to deal with any headaches if the original design is flawed. Thanks for any help/advice
