Husqvarna 61 Rancher Practica "White Top"

I inherited an older neglected Husky last month. Me being me I had to straighten it out and make it usable again. Now that i have it running very well I have a few questions for my Abby OPE brothers. This unit has no ID tag,so here goes..... no bar plates, also called guide plates, protection plates, am I supposed to have them?, if so 1 or both? I also need a new bar and chain, my bar now is a Windsor STA-375 3/8P, the chain has 60 links with a 3/8" pitch with a .050" chain gauge, was this the right set-up?, the clutch sprocket has 7 teeth. My local farm supply stores can't help me, local Husky dist. and Husky customer hot line tell me it's too old "maybe". I went to Oregon website where they have no matching bar or chain set. The bar seems to be 16" I'd like to stay with that size if possible. Parts schematics downloaded from Husqvarna are for 455 rancher, are these interchangeable? they don't look the same. Am I asking too much or thinking too much about my new Husky friend?

The 61 used guide plates part numbers 501444501, 501444401. You could use 16 to 24" bars: Oregon part numbers all 3/8 chain: 160RNDD009 16" .050 60DL 180RNDD009 18" .050 68DL 200RNDD009 20" .050 72DL 240RNDD009 24" .050 84DL
