Came across these plans to build your own snowmobile lift. But they could be adapted or used as is to lift a blower, mower, cultivator, generator or maybe a lawn tractor up to a more practical height to work on. I already have one bad knee & this might save me a lot of tylenol.

Might even be able to use the mechanism from an electric bed or suchlike to lift & lower.
